Another pot refresh for winter and this time I've replaced some slightly sad-looking grasses which I've cut back and saved for next year and replaced with something lighter that will brighten up a patio or terrace.

I went for these plants πŸ‘‡πŸΌ in this container and chose them because they really gel together and complement each other's colours:

🌿 Trailing ivy - sage green and white leaves

🌿 Skimmia white dwarf - lovely lush green foliage with lime and white flowers

🌿Saxifraga Hikari - gorgeous soft green star-like flowers

🌿 Sarcococca confusa or sweet box - gives height and has lovely fragrant light greeny cream flowers.

I really love a green garden and the greens of these plants go so well together and create a bright, spring-like vibe. And it’s amazing how a quick 15 minutes (and that's really how long it took to plant this) can make such a transformation to a container and to the space it's in.
